T-ara to get a new group leader

테스트

Girl group T-ara has announced that group leader Hyo-min will be replaced by her fellow band mate So-yeon.

The band’s agency, Core Contents Entertainment, announced on Dec. 7 that there will be a change in the band’s leadership to coincide with the release of the group’s new single “Lovey Dovey.”

“The role of the group leader is designated to one member for six to eight months,” the agency said. “During that time, the member in charge will oversee the overall concept and styling of the album. Therefore, it’s a crucial role and has previously been fulfilled by Eun-jung, Bo-ram and Hyo-min.”

The new leader So-yeon is currently said to be undertaking various preparations for the band’s upcoming promotion of “Lovey Dovey” in January. In addition to the new single, the band will release a repackaged mini album titled “Black Eyes.”

The six-member girl group rose to fame with hits such as “Bo Peep Bo Peep” and “Roly Poly.”
