SK Group mulling sale of shares in China Gas Holdings

The possible sale of natural gas service operator China Gas Holdings may prod Korea’s SK Group to consider selling its stake in the Chinese firm, an industry source said yesterday.

China Gas was reported this week to have rejected a $2.2 billion cash bid from state energy giant China Petroleum & Chemical Corp. and Chinese gas distributor ENN Energy Holdings Ltd., saying the offer does not reflect the company’s actual value.
