Cube Entertainment artists impress fans on Brazilian TV
Entertainers from the United Cube Concert in São Paulo, Brazil, have been featured on a Brazilian primetime television show.
On Dec. 20, the Cube Entertainment agency said that the featured artists made their debut on Brazilian television on Dec. 18. Beast, 4Minute and G.NA starred on the Brazilian television channel Rede Globo’s primetime show “Fantástico.”
The segment featuring the Korean singers documented the musicians’ performance at the United Cube Concert that took place at Espaço das Américas on Dec. 13.
The show also featured an interview with Beast as well as footage from the show. One Brazilian fan was chosen by lottery to interview the members of the boy band.
When asked by the fan interviewer about his sentiments on being the first Korean artist to perform in Brazil, Yang Yo-seob from the band said, “I was so happy and surprised to see the turnout of our fans.”
Meanwhile, a representative from the program “Fantástico” commented, “We were blown away by the public’s interest in K-pop. We are flooded with enquiries about Beast, 4Minute and G.NA from fans who want to know more about them. We are planning on producing an additional 20-minute feature containing the live performances made by the artists as well as their music videos.”
Directly following the airing of the show, the keyword “Fantástico-Beast” was ranked first on the list of trending terms on Twitter.
