A paper mirage

“Tribute” by German sculptor and photographer Thomas Demand looks like a documentary photo of candles lit in memoriam of someone who has died. In fact, these are not real candles but paper sculptures the artist has made. His solo show is going on at PKM Trinity Gallery in Gangnam District, southern Seoul, until Jan. 10.
