Dongbu sets up in India
Dongbu Steel held a ceremony yesterday marking the establishment of Dongbu India Private Limited in Delhi, India, it said.
“India consumed about 60 million tons of steel last year, and the figure is expected to rise by more than 10 percent every year,” the company said. “The eastern part of India will serve as a foothold for Dongbu to advance into the Indian market.”
The company is constructing a production line for colored steel plates in Thailand and pushing for branches in Brazil and the Commonwealth of Independent States region.
