4Minute to partake in duo project

Following the success of the project band Trouble Maker made up of Hyun-A from girl band 4Minute and Jang Hyun-seung from boy band Beast, another duo is set to emerge from the girl group. This time, the duo will consist of two existing band members. Jeon Ji-yoon and Heo Ga-yoon, unofficially dubbed “Double Yoon” have been named to partake in the project.

While no official name for the band has been decided, their agency Cube Entertainment said on Thursday that the girls will begin functioning as a unit early next year following the completion of 4Minute’s official album release and promotional activities.

Jeon and Heo have both been involved in solo activities previously, with Heo recording tracks for dramas such as “My Princess” and “Lie To Me.” Meanwhile Jeon made her mark as a solo artist on the hit singing program “Immortal Song 2.”

Heo is known for her high-pitched tone while Jeon is known for her husky voice.

Their band member Hyun-A’s collaboration with Beast’s Jang was a phenomenal success.
