Actress Im Su-hyang to star in T-ara music videoActress Im Su-hyang is set to star in three of five versions of girl group T-ara’s music video for the track “Lovey Dovey.”
The band’s agency, Core Contents Entertainment, confirmed that the actress will play the lead character in various versions of the film clips to be released from Jan. 2.
One of the versions will have the actress playing a zombie in a style reminiscent of last year’s hit movie “Creepy Date.”
“The music video will show Im playing a spooky character that is a far cry from her usual squeaky clean image,” a representative from Core Contents Entertainment said.
The 22-minute music video was to be released in late December, but the agency said on Dec. 24 that it would push back the release date due to the continual success of the band’s other songs. “Cry Cry” and “We Were in Love” did so well that the band decided to continue promoting these songs and push back the music video’s release.
Im rose to fame during her stint on the SBS dramas “New Tale of Gisaeng” and “Paradise Ranch” in 2011.
