MBLAQ releases official picture and concept for new albumLeading up to the release of its mini-album “100% ver,” MBLAQ has released an official photo depicting the album’s concept.
The picture shows the five band members dressed in black feathers and leather and sporting edgy new hairstyles.
The half-shaved hairdos and outfits are thought to be indicative of a more powerful and masculine side of the band.
“The title of the album, ‘100% ver,’ shows that the band is delivering a hundred percent on perfectionism, satisfaction, confidence and charisma,” said J Tune Camp, the entertainment agency behind the group.
The agency also added that the new picture is one of the many included with the album and said that the members even considered shaving their heads completely to align themselves with the new concept.
“But the band members took the opinions of their fans into consideration and settled for the half-shaved look,” the agency said.
The title track of the album is “It’s War” and the album will be released on Jan. 10. Another track titled “Graffiti” and a teaser video for the song were released on Jan. 2 and 3 as a preview of the album.
