K-pop fashion event to take place in Tokyo

From Jan. 25 to 27, MBC and Japan’s Fuji TV will co-host a Korean-Japanese fashion event featuring some of the hottest acts of K-pop and J-pop. The “Korean International Style Show” to be held at Tokyo’s Yoyogi National Gymnasium will include K-pop singers such as RaNia, Chi Chi, After School, CN Blue, Sistar, Beast and Girls’ Generation.

On the event’s first day, CN Blue, Sistar, Beast, Girls’ Generation and RaNia will perform. On the following day, FT Island, 9Muses, T-ara and 4Minute will take to the stage, while on Jan. 27, Chi Chi, After School, Rainbow, Secret, KARA and Infinite will perform.

In additional to their regular performances, Lee Gi-kwang and Yoon Du-jun from Beast, Lee Hong-gi from FT Island, and Park Gyu-ri from Kara will join Japan’s top models and entertainers to host the fashion shows.
Members of some girl groups such as After School, RaNia and Chi Chi will walk the runway, acting as models in the fashion show.
