Lee Hyori is back in the studioLee Hyori’s agency announced yesterday that the singer is preparing a new album for release later this year.
“Lee is currently making preparations for the production of a new album,” a representative from the star’s agency said. “She is in the song selection stage and will begin recording as soon as the tracks for the album have been confirmed.”
The entertainer is also slated to host the new SBS talk show “You and I” on Feb. 26, where she will appear alongside singer-composer Jung Jae-hyung.
Lee has kept a relatively low profile since the release of her album “H-Logic” in 2010, though she participated in MBC’s University Song Festival in November and in early January appeared in a music video for the song “Doggedly” by the new group Spica.
Lee made her debut in the girl band Fin.K.L in 1998 and went on to launch a solo career in 2003 with the single “10 Minute.”
She has since become known as one of the sexiest female celebrities in Korea.
