Serri apologizes to B1A4’s fan club

Dal Shabet’s Serri has apologized for scolding fans of boy band B1A4 for spreading rumors about her.

Earlier this year, Serri used her Me2day Web site to scold the boy band’s fan club, telling its members to stop spreading false rumors about her. That prompted an angry reaction from netizens and led to her apology.

Serri made the apology Monday in a post on the band’s Web site.

“First of all, I want to thank all of my fans for your support,” Serri said. “Second, in the last year, I was just a newbie who didn’t have a clue about how I should behave as a public figure. So when I was the subject of false rumors, I was quick to express my anger at a certain band’s fan club. I’m sorry that I lashed out without thinking and that I hurt the feelings of so many people.”

The singer said she’s learned her lesson and will not be so careless with her comments in the future.

“Again, I thank you all and offer my sincerest apologies,” she said. “From now on, I will become a more reflective and mature individual and will try my best to show my gratitude for all your support.” By Carla Sunwoo
