Proud mama giraffe Jangsun of the Everland Zootopia Animal Wonder World in Yongin, Gyeonggi, successfully gave birth for the 16th time in December, setting the world record for the highest number of successful giraffe births. Having given birth to her first calf in 1990, Jangsun has given birth to 17 babies, including twins, and has been formally registered under the International Species Information System, a nonprofit organization dedicated to collecting zoo and aquarium data.
