Kukdong building bridges in Vietnam - and roads too
Kukdong Engineering & Construction said yesterday it has clinched a $33.5 million order to build a road and two bridges in northern Vietnam.
The company said the order is part of Project Management Unit No. 85 sponsored by Vietnam’s Transportation Ministry and financed by the Japan International Cooperation Agency.
The 2.4 kilometer (1.5 mile) six-lane road and the bridges secured by Kukdong are part of a larger building project to link Noi Bai International Airport with Hanoi. Noi Bai is located 45 kilometers from the capital and is the second-largest airport in the Southeast Asian country.
