A huge crowd fills the floor at a Hyundai Department Store branch in Samseong-dong, southern Seoul, yesterday, to purchase luxury brands at discounted prices. Certain department stores are now slashing up to 80 percent off their prices to lure consumers. Hyundai, as well as a Shinsegae branch in central Seoul, will continue their sales until Sunday. Shinsegae’s Gangnam branch will hold a similar event from Feb. 17-19. [YONHAP]
