About 1,000 members of the Korea Nursery Association rally in front of Bosingak pavilion in central Seoul, yesterday, to demand improvements in working conditions. According to the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s report, teachers at nurseries are paid an average of 1.26 million won per month ($1,119) and work 9.5 hours a day, though teachers themselves argue that working hours reach 12 hours a day.
