Park Yu-chun’s fan clubs united to donate in Park’s name

Three fan clubs of Park Yu-chun – comprising of “Micky Fan,” “Park Yu-chun’s day-to-day” and “Blessing Yu-Chun” – have joined forces to raise more than 13 million won ($11,578) in cash and commodity donations. The fund was raised to congratulate Park on being cast in the SBS drama “Rooftop Prince,” which will air for the first time on March 14.

CJeS Entertainment announced on Feb. 20 that along with 5 million won in cash, that 8 million won in goods such as rice, ramen and other consumables have been collected through portal site Naver’s “Happy Bean” donation program.

The fan clubs have yet to decide which organization to make the donations to, but will decide on a suitable charity soon.

The drama itself is about a crown prince from the Joseon Dynasty who loses his princess-bride and travels forward in time in order to be with her. The romance-drama takes place primarily in Seoul, where the two lovers are reunited. The female lead opposite Park will be played by actress Han Ji-min.
