Trial run
A cross-country skier hits the slopes for the 50-meter (54-yard) competition qualifications for the 2013 Special Olympics World Winter Games at the Alpensia Ski Resort in Pyeongchang, Gangwon yesterday. Over 300 athletes from nine countries are participating in the four-day event to test out the venue before the Special Olympics next year. Pyeongchang will also host the 2018 Winter Olympics.
