Kobe Bryant diagnosed with concussion

LOS ANGELES - Kobe Bryant suffered a concussion and a broken nose after being struck in the face by Dwyane Wade during the 61st NBA All-Star game, the Los Angeles Lakers announced Tuesday.
The Lakers said the four-time All-Star MVP was officially diagnosed with a concussion after team doctors examined him on Tuesday.
“Doctor [Vern] Williams’s diagnosis after evaluating Bryant was that in addition to the nasal fracture, Bryant also suffered a concussion in Sunday’s game,” said Lakers spokesman John Black in a news release.
Bryant moved past Michael Jordan to become the leading all-star game scorer in history in Sunday’s contest. AFP
