[Letters] No crucifix, yes Halloween?
Following the decision by the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France, concerning the crucifix at schools, I suppose many parents will be entitled to demand that Halloween celebrations should not be held at schools if they consider it an expression of Neopaganism. Similarly, at some Catalan schools where pro-independence flags often appear, families that do not support independence will be lawfully entitled to demand their removal. Also, will the republicans be allowed to protest if the King’s picture hangs over their children’s classrooms?by Federico Gomez,Independent Forum of Opinion, Spain
