STX OSV Holdings clinches two deals to build vesselsSTX OSV Holdings, a European unit of Korean shipbuilding conglomerate STX Group, has clinched two deals worth 230 billion won ($205 million) to build two vessels, the group said yesterday.
Under a 130 billion won deal with DOF ASA of Norway, STX OSV will build an offshore subsea construction vessel by the end of the second quarter of 2013, the group said in a statement.
In a separate contract with Island Offshore of Norway, STX OSV will also build an offshore subsea support vessel for around 100 billion won, it said. STX OSV started trading its shares on the Singapore Exchange in late 2010. Yonhap
