Tunnel vision
Drilling of the longest tunnel in the construction of the Honam High Speed Railway, the 7,240-meter (4,498-mile) Gyerong tunnel in South Chungcheong, is completed yesterday. The Honam High Speed Railway, construction of which is currently 41-percent complete, will connect Osong, North Chuncheong, to Mokpo, South Jeolla, and become a part of Korail’s Korea Train Express system.
