* Wonju Dongbu Promy (2-1) at Ulsan Mobis Phoebus (1-2)
* Dongchun Gymnasium, Ulsan
* Friday, 7 p.m.
The Wonju Dongbu Promy, the regular season champions, can clinch a spot in the KBL Finals with a victory tonight.
Wonju lost its first game 65-60 at home, but got two consecutive wins to turn the tide thanks to its strong defense. The No. 1 seed allowed only 50 points versus the Phoebus in Game 3, the lowest points allowed in KBL playoff history.
With the “triple tower” - Rod Benson, Kim Joo-sung and Yoon Ho-young - battling the Phoebus’ Terrence Leather and Ham Ji-hoon in the low post, guards Park Ji-hyun and Lee Kwang-jae have stepped up to score from the perimeter, helping the team put points up with relative ease. Leather must stay out of foul trouble for the Phoebus to have a shot.
