The first round of the V-League playoffs starts on Sunday with No. 3 seed Skywalkers taking on Kepco 45 in the best-of-three series.
The winner of this series will face the Incheon Korean Air Jumbos before clashing against the regular season champions Daejeon Samsung Fire Bluefangs in the finals.
This is the first time that the Skywalkers will start the postseason with a first-round playoff while Kepco 45 makes its postseason debut.
Kepco 45 had to kick four players off the team due to a match-fixing scandal and lost attacker Seo Jae-duk to injury. The team has had to rely on Croatian Andjelko Cuk, the league’s second-best scorer.
