Shout Communications to merge with Waggener

Public relations agency Shout Communications Korea said yesterday it will sign a merger and acquisition contract with U.S. communication consulting company Waggener Edstrom. The merger of the two will enable Korea to introduce Waggener’s specialized communication methods to enhance PR services in the country, it said.

“We want to provide our clients with advanced PR methods developed by Waggener, one of big three PR agencies in the U.S.,” said Kim Jae-hee, CEO of Shout Communications Korea.

Melissa Waggener Zorkin, founder of Waggener, said Korea is a leader in the online and offline communication field and a center of innovation. Zorkin said she considers Shout Communications Korea an ideal partner with great knowledge on the local market.
