Tony An, wrapped up his involvement as a temporary member of the boy band Smash, which he created back in 2008.
The collaboration, which went by the name “Tony & Smash,” performed for the last time on SBS’ “Popular Songs” on April 8.
On the following day, TN Entertainment stated that Tony has put an end to performing with the band and will concentrate on music production for the time being.

Until recently, An promoted the song “Get Your Swag On” with the group belonging to his agency, testifying again of his prowess as a former boy band member from the 1990s.
A few weeks ago, An appeared on a TV show and said that he was contemplating retirement from the entertainment industry.
Despite his remark, TN Entertainment said that An has no plans to retire just yet.
Meanwhile, Smash has started to prepare for the launch of a single album to take place in the coming weeks.
“For the time being, An won’t be pursuing his career as a singer as he will be busy working on Smash’s new album. However he is and will continue to be active as a singer,” said a representative for An.
