Government promises office for advice on new towns
The government said yesterday it will soon establish an office charged with helping local firms make inroads in the market for the development of new towns abroad. The office will begin in July providing Korean firms and government agencies operating abroad with information and expertise on the development of new towns, the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs said in a statement. The ministry has not yet decided where to situate the office that will be shared by the International Contractors Association of Korea and the Korea Land and Housing Corporation. Yonhap
