The foundation intends to support children from disadvantaged families suffering from cancer, heart disease, leukemia and other various rare diseases.
The foundation signed an MOU with three major hospitals - Seoul National University Hospital, Severance Hospital and Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital - and said it would cover treatment and surgery expenses for those children in cooperation with the Korean Society of Cardiology.
It will provide up to 20 million won ($17,540) to a total of 500 children for three years.
