The 1990s boy band Shinhwa, which has come back after a four-year hiatus, has been recruited to promote the formal wear brand Roygen.
The Italian style influenced brand that prides itself on simplistic chic said that the band fits in line with the brand’s image.
“The band members look good in suits and their masculine yet sensitive persona really embodies what our brand stands for,” said a representative from the men’s wear.
The band gave its first performance in four years on April 21 and 22 at Olympic Hall in Seoul. The concert sold out in just 40 minutes on Feb. 13, selling a total of 20,000 tickets and setting a new concert sales record on the Interpark ticket Web site.
On April 30, Shinhwa will begin its tour of Asia starting from Shanghai.
