Faulty wipers lead to recall of Ford Focus
Ford Motor will recall 295 units of its compact Focus model in Korea due to problems with wipers, the government said yesterday.Subject to the recall are Focus vehicles produced between June 13 and Oct. 18 that were imported by Ford’s local distributor, the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs said in a statement.
An inflow of water into the car’s wiper may prevent its motor connector from working properly, blocking the driver’s view, according to the statement.
Owners of the Focus vehicles can receive free repairs from today, the ministry said.
