Lee Jae-yong gets seat on Fiat holding company board
The heir apparent of Samsung, Korea largest family-run conglomerate, is expected to be named an outside director of a holding company that controls Italian automaker Fiat, sources said yesterday.Samsung sources said Lee Jae-yong has been recommended to the post at Exor, with the company’s upcoming stockholders meeting to confirm the decision.
Lee is chief operating officer at Samsung Electronics, the world’s largest mobile phone and memory chip manufacturer.
