World IT Show 2012 kicks off today in southern SeoulThe World IT Show 2012, the nation’s largest IT-related event, is kicking off today at COEX in Samseong-dong, southern Seoul.
Major domestic and foreign IT firms such as Samsung, LG, KT, Nokia, Siemens and Qualcomm will showcase their latest products ranging from mobile communication devices to home appliances, cloud computing-, smart walk- and IT convergence-linked systems.
The show is open to business-related visitors from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on May 15-17, while general admission is available on May 18 during the same hours.
The admission fee is 5,000 won ($4.33).
World IT Show 2012 is hosted by the Ministry of Knowledge and Economy, the Korea Communications Commission and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
