Stickin’ it to him
A doctor wearing royal medical attire from the Joseon Dynasty tries acupuncture on a foreign visitor’s arm yesterday at a pavilion in Seoul’s Changdeok Palace. The Cultural Heritage Administration is offering a traditional royal medicine experience at the palace through Sunday with help of the Association of Korean Oriental Medicine. The pavilion was used as a royal clinic during King Sukjong’s reign. On a first-come, first-served basis, 80 visitors per day can get a free medical checkup.
