Jeju Air launches daily service to China’s Qingdao

Jeju Air launched a new international route from Incheon to Qingdao yesterday.

The local budget airline operates 13 international flights, the most among low-cost carriers in Korea.

It is the first time a low-cost carrier operated the route.

“It’s the first time for us to launch a route to mainland China,” said an official at Jeju Air. “We will use this chance to launch more routes to China.”

The airline will serve up to 189 passengers on the route daily. The outbound flight leaves Incheon at 8:20 a.m. and arrives in Qingdao at 8:50 a.m., local time. The inbound flight leaves Qingdao at 9:50 a.m., local time, and arrives in Incheon at 12:15 p.m.
