Wonder Girls

The Wonder Girls have proven they can hold their own against U.S. stars as its new song “Like This,” which landed the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s K-pop chart, was like “an updated version of Beyoncé’s ‘Get Me Bodied’ ” by Billboard.com.
The Web site of the weekly music publication that is distributed worldwide said last week that with the release of the tune containing synthetic handclaps and vocal chants, the Korean girl group had “truly proven what a force it is in K-pop with its latest “Wonder Party.”
Along with the video of the number one title track from the album, the publication said that the music video, complete with a flash mob, was a taste of “the real world.”
The video amassed more than eight million hits after being released on June 2 as well as claiming first place on the Billboard K-pop Hot 100 Chart during the week of June 21.
In the same chart, the group’s other track “Girlfriend” from the same album managed to make it to the 27th spot.
