Report on sustainabilitySamsung Engineering, the largest engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company in Korea, said it has published its first sustainability report in order to provide its clients with a glimpse of its commitment and initiatives towards sustainability worldwide.
The 2011 Samsung Engineering Sustainability Report aims to present the company’s efforts to enhance its values about the economy, environment and society, and comprehensive achievements in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G3.1 guidelines.
The report also introduces the company’s sustainability management system that is based on three directions: responsible growth, respect for the people and the environment, and reliable partnership.
“Our sustainability is founded on the basis of transparency, respect for the people and environment and the growth of our partners,” said Park Ki-seok, President and CEO of Samsung Engineering.
