Doosan Infracore has good Q2 thanks to affiliates
Doosan Infracore’s second-quarter earnings jumped 20 percent from a year earlier mainly due to gains from equity ties with affiliates.Net profit reached 205 billion won in the April-June period, up from the 171 billion won tallied a year earlier.
Sales edged up 3.1 percent on-year to reach 2.33 trillion won in the second quarter, while operating income dropped 34 percent to 156 billion won over the cited period.
In the first half, its sales climbed 1.1 percent on-year to amount to 4.52 trillion won. Its first-half operating income plunged 29 percent on-year to reach 331 billion won, with net profit down 14 percent to 275 billion won.
