Turning back the tide

A ship releases red clay into the waters off the coast of Tongyeong, South Gyeongsang, yesterday as part of efforts to contain the spread of red tide, an algae bloom that can be harmful to marine life. With the red-tide warning in the southern coast, the South Gyeongsang Provincial Government plans to release up to 130,000 tons of red clay. By Song Bong-geun
