Five contenders in the Saenuri Party’s presidential primary cast ballots yesterday as the conservative ruling party held the final round of voting at 251 polling stations around the country. From left to right: Yim Tae-hee, former chief of staff to President Lee Myung-bak; Park Geun-hye, former Saenuri chairwoman; Kim Tae-ho, former South Gyeongsang governor; Ahn Sang-soo, former Incheon mayor; and Kim Moon-soo, Gyeonggi governor. The party will hold a national convention today and announce its candidate for the Dec. 19 presidential election. Park is expected to score a landslide victory.
