Another Aegis

An Aegis ship sails on waters off of the Korean Peninsula. The Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA), a state-run military procurement agency, said yesterday it will hand over an Aegis ship to the Korean Navy today. The ship is the country’s third Aegis. The construction of the 7,600-ton vessel started in Sept. 2009 by Hyundai Heavy Industries. Provided by DAPA
