A crane employed to put up a store signboard for a shopping mall in Gwanak District, southern Seoul, collapsed around 10:00 a.m. yesterday as the ground couldn’t support the heavy weight of the crane. The crane knocked down three electrical poles in the area, temporarily knocking out power to nearly 500 households as well as injuring eight people. [NEWSIS]
