Commuting in Sejong the space-age way
Passengers board a tram developed by the Korea Railroad Research Institute yesterday in Sejong City, South Chungcheong. The vehicle can carry up to 93 passengers as two tram modules can be connected as one. The tram will ply a route connecting the administrative city and Osong Station. It will be run as an automatic, unmanned bus at a maximum speed of 80 kilometers per hour (49.7 miles per hour) once test-runs are completed early next year.
