A trickle of aid

테스트

Twenty 25-ton trucks carrying 500 tons of flour leave for North Korea at 10 a.m. yesterday through the border transit center in Paju, Gyeonggi. It was this year’s first batch of private food aid shipped across the border to the flood-stricken North. The goods from the Christian charity group World Vision are the first cross-border food shipments following recent heavy floods. The North’s acceptance of the food aid from the private South Korean groups came despite the communist country’s refusal last week to accept flour, instant noodles and medicine from the South Korean government.
