A little love and attention
Workers yesterday disassemble the top of Seokgatap, or Sakyamuni Pagoda, the No. 21 national treasure of Korea, at Bulguk Temple, a Unesco World Heritage Site in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang. The National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage said they will completely disassemble the pagoda for repair. The pagoda was built in AD 742 during the reign of King Gyeongdeok of Silla. [YONHAP]
