It’s time for squid-drying season on the east coast

As crisp autumn weather arrives on the east coast of Gangwon, squid drying begins at the port of Gangneung. Sun-dried squid using wooden sticks and rope are one of the popular products of the province. At the nearby port of Jumunjin in Gangneung, this year’s squid festival will take place from Oct. 11 to 14 to promote the seasonal food. [YONHAP]
