Kim Jang-hoon posts spook his fans

Kim Jang-hoon

Singer and activist Kim Jang-hoon scared fans with two posts on his Me2Day page in the wee hours yesterday morning.

In the space of minutes from 1:20 a.m., Kim made some comments that had many wondering.

“Once I fall asleep I may not wake up tomorrow. I took too many pills. Sorry,” read one post which described how hours earlier he had spent such a wonderful time with his mother and friends. He vowed that if he should be alive in the morning, he’d live life to the fullest.

Kim also added that he was suffering from “betrayals by loved ones” before apologizing to fans for what may be his demise. Two minutes later, Kim again took to the SNS Web site to rant, “I should have fought until the end, I’m sorry that I couldn’t. Please don’t criticize me and don’t grieve too much for my sake.”

More than a hundred netizens began pouring out their sympathy and support for the star, urging him to stay alive. The next morning, a representative for Kim clarified the matter by saying that Kim was drunk.
