Blizzard picks 10 for Asian finals of StarCraft II challenge

Blizzard Entertainment Korea said it has selected 10 gamers that will represent the country at the Asian finals of the StarCraft II World Championship Series this weekend in Shanghai. The event will be held at the Baosteel stage of the site of the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. The Korean players will be competing with 32 competitors from other Asian countries including China, Taiwan and Singapore. The six top finalists will advance to the global competition, dubbed Battle.net World Championship, that is scheduled to take place for two days from Nov. 17 in the same metropolis. The winner will receive $60,000.
