Rolling Stone rates G-Dragon song
Rolling Stone described the song as “a smashing synthesis of pidgin rap,” saying the song is sung in Korean with sporadic English like “why so serious” and “get your cray on” throughout.
It is the first time the magazine has reviewed a K-pop song.
Meanwhile, the Big Bang member’s “One of a Kind” solo album has been well received worldwide.
Since being released last month, the title track as well as “Crayon,” “Missing You” and the explicit “That XX” have dominated music charts nationwide.
Big Bang is also doing well as a group as it soldiers on with its “Alive” tour.
Last weekend the band performed for Indonesian fans. Next month, the group will perform in the United States.
