With 11 days left until the state-administered 2013 College Scholastic Ability Test, parents of high school seniors pray at the Jogye Temple in Jongno District, central Seoul, yesterday for their children’s success on test day. The scores of the CSAT, which students will take on Nov. 8, play a crucial role in the university admissions process. Korean students are notoriously under an extraordinary amount of pressure to be admitted into a competitive higher education institution. [YONHAP]
