Psy’s new song is a sure hit according to YG head

Yang Hyun-suk, the head honcho at YG Entertainment told Starin on Nov. 1 that he listened to Psy’s unreleased follow-up to “Gangnam Style,” and that he is sure that it will take off.

“Maybe I’m biased but I think it will give ‘Gangnam Style’ a run for its money,” said Yang.
On the topic of one of his most successful artists, Yang said that due to the enduring fame of the hit song, that the succeeding song will be released later on.
“They were thinking around November to launch the second single, but because the first single is doing so well, Psy’s U.S. agent and label wants him to promote ‘Gangnam Style’ a while longer,” explained Yang.

Meanwhile the aforementioned song managed to maintain its No. 2 spot on Billboard for the sixth week in a row.
