KEB’s ‘loyalty’ card attracts over half a million subscribers

Korea Exchange Bank has amassed over 500,000 subscribers to its 2X credit cards within just five months of issuing them, KEB said.

The card, which offers better benefits over time, is one of the most ambitious products launched this year by the bank.

In celebrating the landmark, it will offer free coffee and gift icons to card holders on days ending with the number two from later this month. They can collect their complementary drinks at Starbucks, Caffe Bene, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Coffine Gurunaru, Caffe Pascucci, Tom N Toms and Droptop.

Those who spend over 500,000 won ($458) will receive between 5,000 and 20,000 points on their cards depending on the amount spent.
